Complimentary Exam
Your first visit to Morris Orthodontics will be a free exam for you or your child. During this complimentary exam and consultation, Dr. Morris will examine your teeth and mouth for a wide range of possible problems, including crowding, crossbites, spacing and more. Once we have a clear picture of the current state of your mouth and teeth, we will discuss your orthodontic and oral health needs and your treatment options, including which treatments will provide the best results, the length of your treatment and an estimate of your treatment cost.
During your complimentary exam, we will also take records to help determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include:
- Your medical and dental history
- A clinical examination
- Study models of your teeth
- X-rays
This information is then used to develop a custom treatment plan that addresses your or your child’s unique needs. These initial records are also used to track the progress of treatment as the teeth move into their correct positions.
Regular Appointments
After your complimentary exam, we will be ready to schedule the appointment to begin your treatment. Plan on an initial appointment of one to two hours. After this initial treatment, you will visit Dr. Morris at regular intervals for adjustments. These regular adjustment appointments typically take about 30 minutes.
We see patients by appointment only. Dr. Morris and our team make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask that you please extend that same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please call us immediately so that we can reschedule your visit for a time that is more convenient for you.
